By signing up as a club member, entering events or booking any of our services you confirm that you have read and agree to the following…

Events:

Entries are non-refundable (they may be transferred to a later event and deferral request must be made before the entry cut-off date)

In the unfortunate event that a race is cancelled by the organiser, participants will receive an email as soon as feasible to outline entry options. Entries will automatically transfer to the next available event unless alternative instructions are received via email.

Entrants must be over 16 (human) and over 1 year - 18 months (dogs) on date of event.

Dogs must be under the control of an adult at all times (16+). 

By registering, you confirm that you and your dog are physically fit to participate.

You also confirm that you have read and agree to our Code of Practice and Pre-Event Declaration by continuing to register.

Our courses include potential tripping hazards and technical running surfaces, therefore appropriate clothing/footwear must be worn.

All dogs must be wearing a suitable running harness attached to a bungee line and waist belt.

Times are individually recorded by 2 x independent timekeepers.

Team name must be entered when signing up to be eligible for team awards - Team awards will be decided by the aggregate time of all members (total time divided by 5).

Participants are permitted to run with a maximum of 2 dogs, unless stipulated in specific event information.

Please do not attend if your dog is in season or displaying any symptoms of Kennel Cough.

Booked Sessions:

Your dog must be over 1 year old (or 18-months for large breeds) on the date of your appointment.

Please do not feed your dog within 2 hours of the start/finish of any physical activity.

You and your dog must be physically able to participate in planned sessions and/or you must inform the instructor of any illness/injury prior to activity.

Please do not attend if your dog is in season or displaying any symptoms of Kennel Cough.

You must wear suitable clothing/footwear for the planned session and weather conditions.

Booked sessions may be cancelled at short notice on safety grounds due to extreme weather conditions.

Sessions cancelled by the client within 24 hours will be charged at full price (where charges apply).

Harness and equipment advice is provided based on measurements taken. Occasionally additional advice may be sought from experts at Sporty Paws Ltd.

Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their dog(s) during any group activity. Please ensure your dog is always kept on a lead and avoid invading the space of any other dogs.

Participants are advised to take 3rd Party Insurance for their dog before partaking in group activities/events.

Membership:

All members must be over 16 years of age (human) and dogs must be a minimum of 1 year (or 18 months for large breeds).

Membership is payable via monthly Standing Order and is applicable to the calendar month of payment.

Membership may be cancelled at any time by cancellation of S/O and notification via email or message.

Membership includes up to 3 free Instructor Led Social Runs per week during the Canicross season (Sept – May) and CaniHikes during summer months (weather permitting)

Human Only training sessions may be offered as an alternative if weather conditions are unsafe for dogs.

Monthly subscription is payable per human (dogs go free!) – all canine participants must meet minimum age requirements.

Sessions may be cancelled by the club at short notice due to unsafe weather/terrain conditions.

Dogs must wear suitable Canicross Harness attached to a Line/Belt during all sessions.

Members must have 3rd Party Insurance in place for their dog(s) and remain responsible for their dog(s) at all times.

Dogs must only interact if both owners are completely comfortable, please ensure your dog is not off-lead or allowed to approach other dogs during group sessions.

PLI is included for all members during Instructor Led Sessions Only.

Any injury to the person and/or dog due to a disregard of club advice/guidance will not be covered by the club PLI. In the case of serious or repeated instances, which may risk dog safety, the member will be asked to leave the club.

Members arranging to meet outside of the organised Instructor Led runs are responsible for any injuries to persons/dogs within the group and/or members of the public and cannot claim against club PLI.

Members are entitled to access a private Group throughout the membership period and priority booking facilities for all social runs and events.

Any discount codes and special offers offered by the club are applicable whilst membership is active.
